It implies that we craft each of our tiles entirely by hand, from beginning to end. Our process begins with milling and grinding a plethora of materials to build our in house body which we then extrude and shape into various forms. Following this, we meticulously apply glaze by hand using various techniques which are fired in our custom built kilns, resulting in the vibrant colours you admire. Human involvement in each process means that we are having a positive impact by generating more employment opportunities for people. Every stage of our process is executed by skilled artisans who have learnt the art by practise and choice.

*However please check with our team on the glaze properties as some glazes are not suited for use in wet areas.
Most of our tiles are stain resistant and non-absorbent. Kindly check if the glaze you are choosing satisfies the criteria here in below link.

Absolutely, our tile is beautiful on floors! Although we CURRENTLY DO NOT OFFER ANTI-SKID Surfaces. The most important aspect of installing tile on floors is ensuring you have the proper subfloor material. We recommend our matt glazes for use as floor tiles. Do get in touch if you have a particular requirement wherein we need to consider any factors.

This all depends on your project. Generally, we sheet custom mosaics onto mesh or surface mounted vinyl. Which can be mapped out and numbered, so that your installer has an easy time putting it together. For our standard range will come sheeted as shown on website. Some of the larger special shapes are loosely packed. All your tiles will be securely packed in boxes, ready to install on arrival!
Generally speaking as these tiles are hand cut and non-rectified after the firing they will tend to have considerable size and shape variation. You should also expect the tiles to have variations in planarity which is inherent to handmade ceramic tiles. In order to allow for such variations for which it is loved we recommend a 3mm spacer as minimum to start with. The grout gap shall not be consistent and shall be varied throughout the installation.
Great question!
We would like to note that our handmade tile requires more care to install than machine made tile due to the inherent variation and character, which is why we always recommend working with an installer who has experience with handmade tile to ensure a beautiful outcome.

To best maintain your tile, make sure to clean any spills immediately to avoid staining. We recommend using a mild dish washing soap with water and a non-scratching sponge or rag. You can also use a neutral pH cleaner specified for tile. Avoid using any cleaning products that contain acids like vinegar or lemon.
For tiled floors be sure to vacuum and/or sweep your floors regularly to protect the tile from sand and dirt. Also consider placing mats or rugs in high traffic areas to further prevent wear and tear over time.
It is also recommended that you reseal your tile every 1-3 years. In order to tell if the tile needs to be resealed, conduct a water test: simply splash water onto the tile; if it beads off, it is properly sealed. If the water absorbs into the tile, it is time to reseal.
If you chose to install using grout that requires sealing after installation, we recommend resealing your grout regularly (every 1-2 years) to maintain it and prevent staining. Refer to your grout manufacturer’s instructions.
